Tussen haar opvallende optredens in Netflix's 'Stranger Things' en 'Enola Holmes' heeft Millie Bobby Brown kijkers weggeblazen met haar talent. Maar de in Spanje geboren, in Engeland opgegroeide acteur heeft deel uitgemaakt van veel meer projecten dan alleen die streamerhits - waaronder sitcoms als 'Modern Family' en blockbusters als 'Godzilla: King of the Monsters'.
Brown is genomineerd voor 33 prijzen (en heeft er 18 gewonnen!) voor haar talrijke projecten en vertoont geen tekenen van vertraging. Ze zal de hoofdrol spelen in een aantal films die momenteel worden opgenomen en in postproductie voor Netflix, waaronder 'Damsel' en 'Enola Holmes 2'.

'Jonge dame'
Bruin zal de hoofdrol spelen als prinses Elodie in de Netflix-fantasiefilm 'Damsel.' Prinses Elodie denkt dat ze nog lang en gelukkig zal leven met Prins Henry (Nick Robinson), maar ontdekt dat ze werkelijk wordt opgeofferd aan de heilige draak van het koninkrijk. 'Damsel', dat Brown ook co-executive produceerde, zal naar verwachting ergens in 2024 op Netflix verschijnen, na vertragingen als gevolg van de acteursstaking van 2023.
'Vreemdere dingen'
Bruin's role as Eleven on ' Stranger Things ' is what made the actor an instant household name. Premiering in 2016 and airing its fourth season this May, 'Vreemdere dingen' follows a group of teenagers in the '80s who are dealing with the supernatural forces plaguing their Indiana town. Our first introduction to Bruin's character, Eleven, is as a 12-year-old who helps Mike ( Finn Wolfhard ), Lucas ( Caleb McLaughlin ), and Dustin ( Gaten Matarazzo ) find a missing boy by using her special telekinetic powers. Bruin has won 12 awards for her work on 'Stranger Things,' including best actor in a show at the 2017 MTV Movie & TV Awards. The fifth and final season of the show is in production but delayed amid the 2023 actors' strike.
'Enola Holmes 2'
Bruin reprises her role as Sherlock's quick-witted younger sister, Enola, in ' Enola Holmes 2. ' In this sequel to the popular Netflix mystery-crime film ' Enola Holmes, ' Bruin's character takes on her first official detective case and works to solve the mystery of a missing girl. The sequel is currently in postproduction and will feature Henry Cavill (as Sherlock) and Helena Bonham Carter (as Eudoria) alongside Bruin.
'Godzilla versus Kong'
Bruin reprised her role as Madison Russell in ' Godzilla vs. Kong ,' the fourth installment in the Monsterverse film franchise. This 2021 sci-fi movie takes place five years after Godzilla conquered King Ghidorah and features Madison and her friend Josh (Julian Dennison) investigating some new Godzilla attacks brought to light by conspiracy-theorist podcaster Bernie (Brian Tyree Henry). 'Grey's anatomie'
Bruin guest starred on season 11, episode 15 of the medical drama ' Grey's Anatomy .' In an episode titled 'I Feel the Earth Move,' we see Bruin's character, Ruby, call the emergency room and explain that her mother was injured in an earthquake. Fan favorite Dr. Ben Warren (Jason George) answers Ruby's call and provides her with medical advice over the phone to help the young girl assist her mom.
'Moderne familie'
Bruin makes an appearance as Lizzie in season six, episode 17, of the TV comedy ' Modern Family .' In this episode, Lizzie has her bike stolen by Manny Delgado (Rico Rodriguez) after he scrambles to find a quick mode of transportation to chase down a drone that was creeping on his mom (Sofia Vergara).
'NCIS'
Bruin appeared as a young girl named Rachel in season 12, episode six of 'NCIS.' Rachel unfortunately stands witness as her mom, a psychiatrist and the wife of a Navy SEAL, is shot dead in their home. Bruin was just 10 years old during her appearance in this 2014 episode, titled 'Parental Guidance Suggested.'
'Indringers'
Bruin's first recurring role was on the BBC mystery-drama series 'Intruders.' Based on the novel of the same name, 'Indringers' is about a former LAPD detective who stumbles across a secret society during an investigation. Bruin appears in all eight episodes of the show's first and only season, playing a 9-year-old girl named Madison O'Donnell who's associated with a member of the secret society.
'Er was eens in Wonderland'
In haar eerste gecrediteerde rol speelde Brown Young Alice in twee afleveringen van 'Once Upon a Time in Wonderland'. Dit tv-drama is een bewerking van de fantasy-avonturenserie 'Once Upon a Time' en beschrijft de avonturen van een jong meisje genaamd Alice in het Victoriaanse Engeland. Alice, gespeeld door Sophie Lowe, vindt een fantastisch universum genaamd Wonderland dat gevuld is met pratende speelkaarten en ondeugende katten. Het probleem?
